Hatcher Recognized By CFL For Solid Performance Against Montreal

BC Lions wide receiver Keon Hatcher Sr. was on fire in Saturday’s spirited win over the Montreal Alouettes and earned a CFL Player of the Week honour for his efforts.
Hatcher hauled in nine receptions for a game-high 136 yards, including a touchdown that gave the home side a 24-13 lead as part of a wild second quarter. The veteran was a key cog in the offensive wheel that rolled to a 429 net-yard performance in the 48-29 victory.
The playmaker sits fifth among CFL receivers with 949 yards and is closing in on his fourth 1,000-yard campaign in the last five seasons.
Toronto wide receiver David Ungerer and Montreal linebacker Tyrice Beverette also earned Player of the Week, finishing first and second, respectively.
